Minor correction: The AMC Eagle was the first Sport Utility Wagon (about five years ahead of Subaru). The Pacer was the first Neon -- a car designed from the inside out. BTW: The lead Neon designer worked on the Pacer project. Notice the engineering semblance. The first minivan was of course the 1955 VW bus (built on a Bug I beam -- believe it or not split window buses and VW Bugs have the exact same wheelbase). Hey -- wait a minute: scratch my previous comment. The most commendable corporation this fine nation of ours has ever produced is American Motors. What was I thinking.... (In actuality, Ford Motor Company should not exist today. The company surely went bankrupt several times in its history, but accounting was pretty much non-existent so nobody knew the difference).
