While the Optimas may not perfectly fit a lot of cars, they can still be used. Just find the biggest Optima that still fits the space and has the positive/negative terminals on the correct ends. As long as the battery mounts can keep it secure, you should be fine. For my Cougar, I had to mount the Optima on its side and install posts the GM terminals to get the battery to fit with the polarity on the correct sides.
