You have to realize, the last time I was really into Usenet was well over a decade ago. We used uuencode/decode to transfer binaries in plain text format. I gave up on Usenet about the time AOL began letting it's subscribers onto the Internet and the flaming became ridiculous. Within the last year or so I decided I'd get back into Usenet (for binaries only - forget trying to engage in any sort of reasonable conversation) and tried Binary News Reaper as it was supposed to aggregate the multi-part postings into a single file for you automatically. Either my ISP's news servers suck too bad or BNR sucks because it never works very well and the process of searching and finding complete postings through BNR is too labor intensive. Sounds like Newsrover is a better piece of software... -Ryan Yahoo!
