Marc:

Biodiesel: This is the boiling, treating with lye, etc. A big process
that most people won't do on their own. Advantage: You can put it into
virtually any diesel engine and just run it. Just dump it in the gas
tank and go. No engine modifications whatsoever are required.

Greasel: This is the name of a company providing conversion kits that
allow you to run straight (unprocessed) vegetable oil in virtually any
diesel engine. Advantage: No need to make biodiesel. Just dump in raw
vegetable oil and go (used oil should be strained to remove floating
particles; a coffee filter works fine).
