Well, you are from NJ... That means that you have 12", intercooled, LED-ringed "tuner" exhaust tips on each muffler, right?  The extra weight may account for the cracking pipe.   =)))

  I was talking about the Island setup.  Yes, it has a
  180 bend from the turbo in to the muffler which is
  below the turbo.
