Initialy, the clutch would work with the "new"
thickness of the disk.  As it starts to slip, the
material would thin out quickly...  so the problem
would get worse in a non-linear maner.

If the problem is the flywheel not being cut properly,
in the next few days or so the car will not move at
all.
