Walt,

Currently Stratified Spark Injectors are made by hand at a cost of 
about $5,000 each, but American Hydrogen Association is hoping to 
find an investor or investors to help launch large scale production 
at which point the price falls to about $20 each (depending on annual 
quantities).

As far as longevity of the Stratified Spark Injector, American 
Hydrogen Association has a few vehicles including a donated Geo Metro 
that was converted in 1998 and has logged well over 100,000 miles and 
several cross-country drives running on multiple fuels (hydrogen, 
compressed natural gas, land fill gas, gasoline and combinations of 
fuels) without issue.

American Hydrogen Association is a 501(c)-3 non-profit education and 
research organization that relies on the donations of its membership.

Carrying additional bottled oxygen onboard in not necessary for ICE 
applications and may prove to be more cumbersome than helpful, unless 
you are using the oxygen in respirators to calm your passengers while 
driving twisty back roads.

You can store hydrogen as a gas, liquid, solid, or slush and in ICE 
applications carrying additional oxygen is unnecessary and will not 
add to the efficiency of operation.
