Jack,

Would you like to put your SUV against my Taurus in a
contest of accident AVOIDANCE??

Her son is an inexperienced driver.  Most likely, HE
would be the cause of the accident due to inexperience
or irresponsibility.  Giving a kid a truck is just
giving them more power to destroy whatever they hit.

And, I suspect I am safer in my Taurus than you are in
your SUV if were were both hit by another *CAR*.... 
So your theory is because the other guy has a hummer,
you need a steam roller??
