There have been a few Google groups set up to see about moving the Forum
over, but as of yet it is not very user-friendly. Since it is still in
Beta, I am guessing they will add updates along the way.

I agree with Walt, we really need to have the email option. I hardly
ever use the web to read through my group memberships. I either get a
single email with the days posts added, or I get individual emails for
every post, and automatically send them to their own searchable(!) email
folder for parsing whenever I feel like it.
Yet there IS an alternative to Yahoo Groups. It has very little (no?)
advertising, a great web interface, and the option to receive individual
or digest emails.
Check out Google Groups at http://groups.google.com
