Oh don't get me started about that lousy TV show "Las Vegas". I'll
never forget the episode where ninjas scaled the Venetian. Yeah, that
happens all the time here. Just last night, one skittered off the
roof of my apartment.
I can understand using an H1 if you're in the scrap business. I think
that the civilian versions are 24V like their military cousins, and
that alone is great for towning. Electric brakes, and if you're in
the scrap and/or disposal business of some sort, it would be great
for pulling a trailer with dump capabilities. And living in the
Florida, I can see justification for it, with all the consistant
disasters that state has. But I certainly wouldn't buy a new one. I'd
go out, and grab an early 90's one. Usually between $25-35K, and
rebuilt engines aren't a problem to obtain. Just restore the
interior, and you'd be good to go. And that's still ALLOT cheaper
than the top of the line trucks that you can buy brand new.
