Yes of course I know that the micro switch has two functions. And you
know darn well that the idle regulator being stuck open doesn't
qualify as forced induction. Super/turbo charged engines are balanced
out with a lot of other mechanical changes.
Besides, how else do you explain that he fixed the problem? Samuel
swapped out the parts and the car ran better (sans replacing the
thermotime switch which has yet to be done)
