I was not aware such an alignment jig existed, so thank you for posting that
link. Does anyone know if these are available or able to be rented/borrowed
for a short time? If not, I too would like to see the dimensioned drawings
so I can build my own. I am glad you posted this before I started cutting
my frame.
By the way, check into the currency exchange rate at the link below before
you decide not to buy one from the US. I just found out the hard way,
though I don't regret my decision. Also, you may be able to be a bit sneaky
if you can get the seller to state a lower value, if you want to.

Subject: [DMCForum] front frame extension questions.
Hi lads,
I would like to have a front frame extension fabricated to replace
the one that is on my car. I've a few questions on this if anyone
could help, I would really appreciate it.
1. Are the exact dimensions of the front frame extension available
anywhere? Any engineering drawings?
it shows the jig used to align it properly with the rest of the
frame. Is there an engineering drawing of this jig (with
measurements) available anywhere?
3. What gauge metal would you recommend it be made from, to be
stronger than original?
Any suggestions would be great, online or offline. I would buy one
from one of the vendors, but being in Ireland, the postage, import
tax, etc. does not make it worth while.
