Well I went down earlier and loosened the rear striker.  I did not 
realize they have play and can be moved around.  I just moved the 
striker inward as far as it could go and the problem is solved.  I 
wish I knew it was this easy a couple months ago, but it wasnt too 
bad until i got the car back together after the wings-aloft install.
