Hi Walt
I like to call the fuel distributor the "metering head" so as not to
confuse it with the ignition dizzy (which BTW is a common abbreviation
here).
I have heard the term otterstat relating to what I would otherwise call
a thermostat (in electrical terms), which we all know on an engine means
something else. I've resorted to callign it the rad fan switch simply
because that "does hat it says on the tin" (famous ad slogan here).
BTW I've also noticed american DMLers signing off with "cheers" - now
that must be down to me :-))))!!
