Vacuum lines are coded with a colored strip. Use the chart on Page
N:08:15 of the Workshop Manual to figure out which diaphragm controls
what. Pages N:08:03-09 are easy explanation of various door positions.
You want the red line to face level vents (panel vents). You can use a
hand vacuum pump to activate the diaphragm manually during diagnosis
(remember that the loose hose will be a small vacuum leak with the
engine running unless you plug it). Normal position of the FLV door is
closed.
