Ok... I installed an Accel superstock coil. I get aggravated when the guys behind the counter can't tell me how many volts a particular model puts out. Either way, it has to be better than what I had. I visited 4 parts houses today. These guys just suck. People either didn't have the plugs I was looking for or they didn't have them in the quantity I needed. How can Napa only have 3 of anything??? Anyway... Huh..Napa tried to push another set of Champions on me but most folks here told me to steer clear of them. I ended up with a set of NGK's that are one heat range higher than stock. The result? It -seemed- to help. I launched myself out of my driveway as hard as I could and zipped down the street. Like I said though...it could be psycho-somatic. I really need to ride in a properly tuned, stock DeLorean to see how close I am. Riddle me this guys: For those of you with manual trannies, at what RPM do you typically shift at and roughly how long does it take you to get there? That might help me determine if I'm close.
