Engine less than 20,000 miles -- compression had better be good.

Of course did just barbeque driver's side plugs. Was concerned about
warpage. That's why I tested compression, first with railroad's gauge
then with my own.

What is B28F manual you're using? General Volvo (body, suspension,
etc) or engine only? 

Isn't tomorrow big day at cycle shop? Keep us updated...
