RE: [DMCForum] Crag not even make glow

bill,
buy me a set up plugs too :-)

Since we are on the topic of plugs I never gave plugs much of a thought
but after reading the past few weeks it seems they can make a diff. when
it comes to spark quality. Are Delco's popular with the D?

Things keep going from bad to worse...

I will buy you a set of Delco's to get those Champions out of your
car. Won't even run those in my lawnmower.

Engine is gasoline, not diesel. Don't think compression was the issue.

Think your substandard ignition was. Crag better get his caveman butt
to the parts house to buy some decent components soon.

Autozone sells private label plug wires with umbrella boots (look up
Volvo 260/760), but are basically same price as Bosch from John
Hervey. Are solid core too, not spiral, so personally I'd wait a day
or two for an order from him. In fact, he'll sell you everything from
the rotor up as a kit (and throw in a complimentary oil filter as a
new customer).

Hopefully Crag learned valuable lesson -- 99% of car problems are
electrical (old mechanic told me that once. Have since learned how
right he was. Even the fuel supply problem that put me walking last
week was electrical from pump).
