The fogger needs to be powered for several minutes before it'll let you pump fluid though it. The element is then controlled by a thermostat. With fluid being pushed through it the element cools but will automatically cut the pump when the thermostat cuts in.... which goes against what I said previously **slaps forhead** I still have my old Antari Profog K50 somewhere.... cost me £150 second hand and I used to hire it out for £20 a night - it paid for itself long ago and only ever needed a new pump once.
