Hi Guys, I have a little problem with my D, hope somebody has an idea what it could be. It started in october when it got colder outside (below 10°C (50°F) ). Every once and a while she dind't want to turn faster than 3000rpm for the first about 30 seconds. Meanwhile it is everytime when I start her that she doesn't want to turn faster than these 2500 to 3000rpm. When it was about 30s in the beginning, than it ist about 45-60 seconds now. I mean it got colder outside too, that's why I think it is the warmup regulator. She has no problem with starting the engine, even when cold I don't need to turn the key for more than 2 seconds. Also the idle speed is ok. Idle may be hunting a little bit in the first minute, but afterwards it is smoth at about 800rpm. What could be the reason for this ? I checked the vacuum switch and idle speed switch, this is all working correctly. I pulled the vacuum hose from vacuum switch because I thought it could have too much pre-ignition due to a leaking temeparture-vacuum switch deep down in the V under the manifold. This wasn't the reason for it. I mean it makes no sense to turn the engine much higher when cold, but there is still something not working properly and wants to be fixed. Does anybody have an idea ?
