USE GLASS NOT PLASTIC!!!! some plastics will melt when they come in contact with gas. I know most people do not like glass in around the engine cause it could break but you will not have the engine running. I don't have time now but if you would like to email me off the list your number and a good time to call you I can probably talk/walk you through some things to check and how to bypass some systems. Since working on my car I have become an expert at rigging k-jetronic systems to get them running well enough to drive the car, and can rebuild the "non serviceable" distributor. Whalt I finally got the company setup, ACME Engineering. Maybe we could do some videos for working on D's, like the bugme series www.bugmevideo.com Andrei ----- Original Message ----- From: "Walter Coe" <Whalt@xxxxxxx> To: <DMCForum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, August 14, 2002 4:56 PM Subject: Re: [DMCForum] Stuck in the doldrums.... > Travis, > > > The initial acceleration in first is slack, but beyond about 2000 RPM it > > seems fine.
