[DMCForum] Stuck in the doldrums....

Ladies!

I need something to get myself excited about my car again. Maybe if I
figure
out my acceleration problem it will help. 

Here goes:

The initial acceleration in first is slack, but beyond about 2000 RPM it
seems fine. At tope highway speed it feels like I'm getting a miss somehow
(feels a little herky-jerky). This all began when I took the fuel lines
off
and later put them back. Nothing changed. 

Is it possible something got into the injectors while the fuel lines were
off and clogged or damaged one of them? Keep in mind that I reinstalled
all
the banjo screws to prevent this.

Sigh. To quote Slim Pickens in "Blazing Saddles," 

"I am DE-pressed."
