Lots of good inputs guys. 

Some of you are missing an important point though. Lo-jack is not 
intended to keep people from stealing your car. No matter what you 
do, if they want it bad enough they will drive it, drag it, or 
destroy it away.

Lo-jack is intended to get it back. All of the afore-mentioned 
solutions also will not do anything for you if you're car-jacked and 
stuck riding around with the thief. Don't forget, my car is stuck 
outside under a cover. A garage might change the situation.

It -is- expensive. Mike's right. It's not removeable from the 
vehicle. The whole thing does rate careful consideration. My car 
isn't ready for it right now anyway. Perhaps by the end of the year 
when all of the cosmetic stuff is done.
