I just take the RPM relay with me where ever I go.  Something else I did one
time when the neighborhood drunk kept coming over looking at the car was to
place "The Club" in the tie rods in such a way as the car couldn't be moved
with out jacking it up.  Steering wheels are too easy to cut.

One guy I did work for had a '64.5 mustang that he removed the wheels and
had chrome stands made to bolt on.  Kept the original tires from getting
flat spots, and close to impossible to move the car with out damaging it.
Or if you have a garage you can do like my uncle get wheel dollies and put
the car in sideways then chain it to the house with a 3" chain.

If we're talking about stopping somebody from stealing a DeLorean ...
Couldn't you just trip the fuel pump cut-off switch? I doubt any thief
would know where that is or be able to figure it out quickly enough.

Then again I'm cheap.
