Re: [doc] Buzzing from engine

Idle speed motor, you say. What is it for and is it dangerous if it
buzzes?

I also have to tell that when I started the car, the car idled fine
around 775 rpm...so if its the idle speed motor that buzzes, WHY does
it do this?

old one today it made that electric/transformer type hum, that was
due to the fact it was seized and the motor was straining to turn.
Not too loud though and you would not be able to hear it over the
noise of an engine at idle.
