The buzzer has two functions actually:
-it reminds you to put on the seatbelt together with the dash-light
-it warns you that the key is still in the ignition...

The latter only applies when you have the ignition OFF, but the key
still in (the slot the key goes into goes in as you insert the key;
that's a switch!) AND the Drivers-side door is open. Hence there being
TWO doorswitches on that side. Most people (myself included) unplug
the switch responsible for the keybuzzer as it's a REALLY annoying
thing to have buzzing when you're working on the car with the key
in and the door up...
