RE: [doc] WOHOOOO i'm now a delorean owner!! :-D

Rick,
Are you a club member?    If not visit www.deloreans.co.uk
<http://www.deloreans.co.uk/>    You have a good car with Paul Feagan?s
former one.

Driving a LHD car takes a few days to get used to. Basically you look at the
?gap? in front of you and decide if you can fit through. Now if the answer
is yes (and remember a DeLorean in a few inches wider than most cars) then
you aim for the gap with you and the left hand side of the car in the
gutter. Letting the RHD side of the car take care of itself.

In a RHD car you would keep yourself and the RH side of the car clear. And
forget the near side.

Well that?s what I do anyway.

The fact is you can?t concentrate on both side of the car at once when
driving normally.

The cat bypass pipe is well worth fitting. Martin at www.delorean.co.uk
<http://www.delorean.co.uk/>  should be able to fix you up.

I have no trouble getting my air con re-gassed, just go to a garage that has
some experience of older cars, Aston Martins,  Citroens etc. I usually pay
about 50GBP.   I have had 7 cars re-gassed over the years ad only one had
got a compressor fault due to lack of oil (and no, don?t try and top it up
yourself, it?s a specialist job)

i can't stop smilling!   but i'm gonna need some advice,iv'e never
drove a left hand drive car before, and iv'e gotta drive it from
london up here to the midlands, think i'll be fine on the motorway
just a bit worried about getting out of a busy part of london, any
tips?????
Also have any owners fitted the de-cat pipe? does it make a big
difference? one question i think the air-con needs re-gasing
