I have been making an estimate from DMC of Houston of the general repair of the car. Since I know only a small bit about the condition, its a rough estimate. But, I have included:
-new front fascia and all the bits with that
-new suspension, both sides
-new bonnet
-new rh fender (dont have lh, what do I do?)
-new front frame extension
-new steering rack etc etc
-plastic moulding infil panels, mostly for the front
-hose kit, complete with radiator
I think I may have covered the main parts. I suppose I am getting a little bit ahead of myself too :)
Did anybody follow the posts on the DML about the car that has been sitting around? Then you might have seen the guy talking about fibre glass repair. He said it can be fixed even in extreme cases. Is there anybody in the UK who would be able to repair the tub, assuming damage?
The total at the moment is $8,731.23 - I would expect this price to skyrocket. I just hope the car is decent enough for repair!
