That plug goes directly into the crank case. It's the hole used to find
#1 TDC on the crank itself - then used to set the position of the timing
plate to the notch on the pulley.

This plug is not under any pressure - it just gets oil thrown at it from
beneath. It's the same part as the sump plug, if you want to buy a new one.
