I'm glad you are happy with your DMUK work Stephen, Are you on commission?
Seriously though, its certainly sounds as though your brakes needed
attention.

Out of all the DeLorean's I have owned, if everything is set up and working
properly I have always found them to be quite adequate for normal driving. I
remember particularly driving , what is now Darren Cunningham car. The
brakes were absolutely spot on, Quick stopping in straight line, even the
hand brake would lock up both back wheels at speed. I think it's often down
the little mileage many of these cars do, things start to sick, rust up etc
and hey presto the brakes gradually get worse.

The Germans and Dutch, like the ventilated disc set up, but they probably
drive harder than I do.

Having said that I took Delores for a very quick, 100 mile round trip
yesterday, up the M1 to collect my latest batch of "euro-springs".

They have increased in price to me slightly, but I will adsorb the increase
on this batch and still be able to supply them at 50 GBP plus carriage a
pair.

Two weeks ago my brake calipers, brake lines and brake pedal
travel were assessed and repaired by DMUK snip>>>>
Since we are 20 years on, and the factory is no more, my
recommendation is to do what John Z would have done, get the existing
cars up to a subtle modern specification. DMUK can definitely do it, and
the cars do deserve it.
