I agree Martin, better the devil you know, then the devil you don't , aha, classic Sonia hit there.

Spoke to my partner and she thinks the January painting session sounds good. I'll buy all the bits a couple of weeks in advance, ie order in specific paints. Did you list what was needed for painting the strip above the windscreen? I think every other painted part of the car was listed. Would that be enough black bumper paint, to do the plastic underneath the doors in the centre too? If we can get all the external areas of the painted up and perfect, I'd be a happy chappie. By the way Chris, took your advice on the lights, didn't open them up in the end. I had my hairdryer(my mothers, haha) and a screw driver, but in the end thought better of it.

It's a left-hander, but don't let that stop you.

Paul's car would make a solid fun car that needs a bit of work "here and
there" (small stuff). A maintained high miler is less prone to problems
than an unmaintained low miler.
