Martin,

The external diameter is 65mm
The top length is 190 mm
The bottom length is 117 mm

That should give the proper angle.

They should be welded on (tacked) so that the old inner pipe is just level
with the bottom bit.(117mm).

Hope that's clear enough! The things I do for you boys, laying on my back
under my cold car port, with my glasses on, torch in hand etc. etc.

Can someone tell me the outside diameter of the '83 flated exhaust tips
please? I know a tubesmith quite well and would like them to make up
some to fit the DeLorean - I dislike my "pea-shooters".

Is the cut on the flaring 45 degrees?
