Hi Mike, 

I had this problem with my passenger side window, I got a good
second hand one from DMC Joe (Delorean Services) in the states.
It was a few years ago now but I know it was much cheaper than
one of the new upgrade window mech's.
I don't know if they are still around as the old web address
I have is not working.
