RE: [doc] Good De Lorean News

Thats strange. Maybe some of the cars were built better than the others. This guy did say that a van with mechanics followed them around some places incase anything went wrong.
One of the former employees gave me a huge poster of the De Lorean with all the newspaper clips of the time around it. Looks amazing, I will get a pic of it. This same guy said that 1 in every 3 of the 'dogs' was in o/k condition.

Brendan Montgomery, a friend of mine and volunteer test driver, didn't like
them!

He complained of non-working heaters and poor visibility when belting around
the narrow N.I. roads. He said that when they broke down, they got on their
CB radios and a covered van would come out and rescue them, he also records
one being written off, they just changed the number plate onto another one.

Hi.
I was talking to an old guy in work today who was in the club that was asked
to test drive the cars before going into production. He told me how they
were "fantastic cars to drive" and how they didn't have any problems with
any of the cars they tested. He didn't mention the car that went into the
tree backwards though. He said that each guy who drove the car, had been a
rally driver at some point, and they all knew how to drive well so the cars
got a good 'raking' about, yet they still held up. Just thought I would
share that.

Thomas (a very proud De Lorean owner who has never seen his car lol)
