[doc] Take 2 @ Santa Pod

This was attempted last year, but was rained off, so here we go again....

The Open house event in Houston May 2003 had one particular highlight for me
in particular..... A trip to the drag strip where DMCH had a couple of their
modified DeLoreans including a black Auto with wheels similar to those of a
Ferrari F40.  One owner had a April 1981 with a Camaro muffler and that
sounded awesome.  I was lucky enough to be able to drive all of the above
thanks to James Espey and the owner of the Camaro muffler DMC whose name now
escapes me.

I set the fastest 1/4 mile of us Brits at 16.409 seconds and 84.61mph until
Martin 'lead foot' Gutkowski beat me by one hundredth of a mile per hour in
the closing minutes.

I would like to get an idea of numbers for a similar event that could be
held at:-

Santa Pod
Airfield Road
Podington
Wellingborough
Northants
NN29 7XA
www.rwyb.com

It could be an overall spectator event for everyone and a chance for those
who think they have the quickest of the DeLoreans to prove it.  For those of
us who were lucky enough to drive D's stateside, we can now see if our cars
beat there 'cat' versions by some amount.

The dates are on the site and I propose either 8th August which clashes with
http://www.ultimatestreetcar.co.uk/ which means lots going on and a great
opportunity for a DOC club display or 22nd August which will be just the
track day...

Can those of you interested raise a hand.... normal admission is £10, plus
one-off signing on fee of £15 for unlimited runs.
