Sounds like the throw-out bearing is hanging up.

When you remove the transmission to replace the throw-out bearing, you may
as well replace the clutch pack.

I also replaced the master and slave cylinder when I did mine a couple of
years ago.

Here's why I *believe* a new clutch is needed:
1) Squeeky/screeching sound when pressing the clutch pedal.
2) Clutch pedal is very, very, very hard to operate.
3) Sometimes hard to get into gear.

I do have the stainless-braided clutch line installed.
