[doc] Possible RHD sale.

Dear All,

As some of you may know, I'm purchasing my first home, in London, at this time. As with all house purchases, we all tend to increase our budgets. I've been buggered in a flourish of gazumping, so my budget got pushed higher than I wanted.

I'm in no terrible rush, but as a result I may have to consider the sale of my beloved RHD Delorean. Her current spec is as follows:

RHD drive, November 1981, manual with grey interior.

Unmarked grey leather seats in A+ condition.

Unmarked stainless panels, in beautiful condition with a great natural grain and shine.

All external plastics in perfect form and black trim waxed this year.

All brakes reconditioned, and brand new stainless steal braded brake lines attached.

            Clutch replaced last year.

Catalytic converter removed and stainless steal straight through pipe in its place.

Full 170 BHP performance upgrade fitted and tuned by DMUK last year.

Fully original interior, with (radio) working Craig radio still in place with original speakers.

Brand new battery fitted late last year with correct connections.

All brand new warning stickers and decals throughout the car, looks superb in the engine bay.

Stainless steal throttle cover and coolant bottle.

Coolant air bubble eradication piping in place.

New temperature sensor fitted, accurate read out now, and fans come on perfectly when hot.

Brand new water pump replaced late last year.

Underbody sanded down and re-epoxy'd late last year.

New wheel caps fitted, with stainless lettering.

Stainless lettering in the rear bumper.

            Stainless lettering on door steps.

Fully working glove box with light fitted.

Luggage net complete and in place.

Original spare wheel, cover and tool kit with car.

            Full car manual.

All instrumentation fully working, including hi/low beam lights, handbrake light and doors open light.

Interior lights turn on when either door are opened, and then fade to black on door closure.

Fully working and solid electric windows.

A truly beautiful car, that commands adoration and smiles wherever she goes. The people of Bath will miss her if she goes.

She has had a huge amount spent on her, some with my Bath based mechanic, some with DMUK. She is obviously loved and cared for. She shows 10K miles on the clock, and has all the documentation complete. Will MOT her when I know there is interest, she passes with ease every time,

RHD D's can go for various prices, so I'll let interested parties email me with possible offers. Look at recent RHD sales, as I can't afford to go any lower than these. I have a car collecting friend of my fathers who has offered £28K in passing, but he knows nothing about the car and I'd rather see it go to a D lover. If there isn't much interest here, she will head for AutoTrader, Classic mags and the dinner tables of wealthy friends of my father. As I said, I'm not too keen to sell, in fact I'd be very upset to do so, but I at least have to entertain the option. You may find that I'm still an owner by this time next year, if so, great, I managed to pull it off, but sadly the property game may have landed another victim.

Please email rather than call me about the above,

Kind regards to all the D owners and potential-owners alike,

            Stephen.       Stephen Strelczak
