First, remove all of the old fasteners to get a good mounting base. Get the replacements (I think there are some SS ones out there somewhere. At a minimum, get the zinc chromated ones ) and glue them in with polyurethane ( the windshield adhesive). That is what I did with the rear fascia and it worked fine.
