Sounds like a worthwhile job so I ordered parts this morning. I just can't find 8 of the number 7 bushings in the diagram. Can someone help me out? ________________________________ From: tho323 <tho323@xxxxxxxxx> To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, May 26, 2013 3:26 PM Subject: [DML] Changed shifter bushings: a big difference resulted! A simple How-To. This morning, I had one of the most different rides on the DeLorean since I've owned it. I followed Mike L's recent tip to change out the shifter bushings. Did it (an inexpensive and quick job) and the results changed how our DeLorean drives. The old bushings were in fact worn, so now it shifts SO much smoother. Thanks, Mike. I documented the procedure/tips/notes here, if anyone else in interested: "Smooth Shifting on a 30 Year Old Car" <http://delorean2109.blogspot.com/2013/05/smooth-shifting-on-30-year-old\ -car.html> [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
