John, that would be great. My zip is 22192. Any help you can provide would be appreciated. v/r Eric ----- Original Message ----- From: John Hervey To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, August 17, 2012 10:31 AM Subject: RE: [DML] Delorean Owner Eric, I have shops all over that US that work on DeLoreans and some of the shop owners even have a DeLorean. I can sort in my computer either by Zip code or area code to help you find a good delorean shop. I do agree that you (we) are our own best mechanic (if we prefer to that type of work). But...for me, it's not about money or doing the work myself -but it about my time. My time is very important to me (can't get it back), I personally don't want to be under a hood (no disrespect). PJ Grady:, I will definitely pursue that. I will have to lookup the address. It appears that's PJ's is the route I will need to take for major issues, but I also appreciate the info about firestone. I will be contacting them for minor concerns. Thank you. ----- Original Message ----- From: Stephen Rice To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, August 16, 2012 7:07 PM Subject: Re: [DML] Delorean Owner No offense but I've found that I am my best mechanic. I was afraid to work on the car when I first got it and now I do nearly everything myself. If money is a little tight you can save thousands of dollars by working on the car yourself. These cars are super easy to work on with the exception of one thing that I won't mention. Or if you can afford a monthly mechanic bill, I would definately deal with PJ Grady. Distance shouldn't be an issue if you can afford it. Just have the car shipped to him and have him do a complete overhaul. For oil changes and belts just bring it to your local Firestone. They do my alignments and tires on the Delorean and I've been happy thus far. -Steve Rice #16510 On Thu, Aug 16, 2012 at 5:49 PM, Eric A.
