Doogie, Have you ever heard the expression " Boiling the Frog ". Look at it on Wikipedia and think about the Circuit Breaker and the blower motor current draw. My blower motor (under the dashboard - Heat and A/C fan) will not stay on , on speeds 3 and 4. My car has recently come out of a 20 year hibernation. If I turn the fan on speeds 1 or 2, it works perfectly. If I select 3 or 4 however, it only runs for a minute or two then quits. I can turn it to 1 or 2, and it works fine. A few minutes later, I can turn it back to 3 or 4, and the fan blows again for a few minutes, then shuts down again. If I leave the fan on in position 3 or 4, it will quit after a few minutes, but then a few minutes, come back on. I replaced both the Speed 3 and the Speed 4 relays, no change. Seems like some sort of thermal cutout is happening, but where?
