It's a Falcon! No, wait, now I see that it's a Falcon dressed up to look like a Mustang.

Seriously, and to keep things topical so I don't get yelled at for using the word "Mustang" in a DeLorean forum: Mustangs are definitely easier to restore than DeLoreans. The community of owners is larger, the supply of reproduction parts is definitely larger, the car is made of metal, Ford built about a gazillion more of the things than DMC even dreamed of building, quality technical advice is as close as the corner mechanic, repair parts are as close as the corner parts house, etc.

Best of all: you can stick a 2100 Series carburetor on the thing without the online community coming all unhinged.
