Gary, That just proves my point of how good the original is. It's not so much the miles but the years. The parts inside the starter with the dirt, grease and oil in the worst environment I'm amazed they still work. A new rebuilt unit ( $189.95 ) exchange with all new ( Not nos ) will last another 30+ years. Will the Chinese do that. Based on China reputation I doubt it. If anyone bought the over priced Chinese starter then I would hold on to the old one or get one of my new rebuilt units as a spare. I hope that it continues to work for a long time.
