[DML] Won't start - no starter, no fuel pump, some relay clicking

I tried to start my D recently and things were trying but then one time I turned the key and nothing happened (no starter, no fuel pump, but there was some clicking from the relays).  I turned the key a few more times and it started cranking again but then after a few more turns it stopped again and hasn't worked since.  I replaced the relays and fuses (update kit) and verified the fuel pump powers (RPM relay bypass).  I was going to check the grounding wire next but wanted to ask if anybody has any suggestions.
