You should realize that not everybody is as capable as you are of cutting and splicing wires. I know it's easy but some people are challenged by even simple things. Leave people a way to fu-k things up and do not be surprised when it happens! You also have to consider that some people are color-blind and will mess up the wires just because of that. Others won't have the proper tools or materials and screw it up. You have to be able to cater to the "lowest common denominator". It is also hard to stand behind your products when you cannot know for sure if it was installed properly. Especially electrical items.
