Just dropping an update note to everyone about the guest speaker we are having at the DMA Spring Social this year. Our guest speaker is a gentleman named Lou Cortese. Lou worked EXTENSIVELY on the creation of the Back to the Future ride for Universal Studios. Myself, Steve Cosgrove, and John Loder met with Lou tonight so that I could get some photos from him to scan for his presentation. Lou brought photos, blueprints, and artist renderings that were used to conceptualize and create the sets for the ride. There are some amazing images including shots of the original Delorean used in the movies that was later shipped to the east coast and used in the production of the ride too. The only thing more amazing than the documents Lou had with him were the stories he has to tell about his experience on the project. There were so many interesting facts and information to hear, and Lou loves to talk about the topic. Don't miss out on an exciting event! Come to the DMA spring social and hear Lou's story that evening at dinner! You can get info and sign up for the event on the DMA website: http://www.deloreanmidatlantic.com/events/ss2012.htm Kevin Abato Vin# 16680 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
