Clean the area well and then reinspect. If you are certain it is the seal between the two halves the only way to fix it is to remove the transmission, separate the halves and reseal. Make sure you have the correct type and amount of gear oil. If it is overfilled or the wrong type it will leak more. Do not use the Hylomar. I have found it to not seal as well as most modern silicone gasket sealers.
