If there is work on a new frame design, I suggest some other vehicles be looked at for design clues. An obvious one would be the later Esprit design. However, I think one of the main differences between our cars and the Esprit that may have not gotten proper attention in the initial design was the engine (weight) behind the wheels. This may be why DeLorean owners always fear a TAB failure, while Lotus owners don't seem to worry about it. Maybe the Alpine 610 would be a good basis for a rear suspension design? I think the engine placement is the same as the DeLorean. Admittedly, I have not given this a lot of thought so someone may poke holes in this idea quickly. :) ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
