I don't think DMCHelp has a charge for membership.. I am just again concerned with a single entity not only having control over all of the parts, but soon all the information too.. And, FWIW, most of the younger owners prefer to deal with people/vendors over the internet. Being available by phone is nice, but most of us don't want to be calling you (or anyone) on the phone every time we have a question or problem. I much prefer first posting to one of the forums (My preference is the DML, of course), then to e-mail the vendor. Last effort will be to (reluctantly) call on the phone. For the vendors, I also think it is more efficient use of their time to deal with customers on-line.. But again, having someone available by phone is always nice too. The part that has me a bit worried is the obvious sudden push to promote DMCHelp and the new "support" site seemed to be timed well with the recent down time for DMCTalk. --- On Fri, 5/6/11, John Hervey <john@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > From: John Hervey <john@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Subject: RE: [DML] Reproduction binnacle update! > To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Date: Friday, May 6, 2011, 10:20 AM > Marc, > I guess I should start at chat sight called ( DeLorean > Answers). > I don't charge anything for answers, I answer questions > even if you didn't > buy the product from me.
