4066 did the same to me. Driving to Las Vegas for DCS west, the A/C was working GREAT! Could hear a click behind the passenger side, and just charged it, so it was working GREAT! Hit the road across the heat of the day & it was blowing a cool 85 degree's. Of course it was a hundred and stupid out side, so I rolled down the window. I don't need to tell anyone on this board what it's like to drive a stainless steel convection oven! Chris and Tyler showed me how to put my arm out & move forward to cool the back, and lean back to cool the front. 45 min. of this & I turned the A/C back on & it worked for about 20 min. It's still clicking, and working for less than a half an hour. Wait a few miles & it comes back on. Still no freon loss, and nothing leaking. Sure would LOVE to hear suggestions! Thanks in advance!
